4867 and growing

I haven't defined an end-goal yet. Right now I'm just grabbing as much as I can and having fun with LaunchBox. I have all USA games for about 25 systems so far (with a small hand-picked selection of EUR and JAP releases), but obviously they're not all added to LB yet. So far I'm mostly sticking with popular systems from Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Atari, and NEC - but I'll probably expand later to include the little guys as well. I'll post updates as I add mroe games. Right now I'm sorting through 1600+ Nintendo DS roms, and PS1 and Dreamcast are downloading from my seedbox as I type, so I have my work cut out for me :) Eventually I'll be tagging my favorite franchises and games for quick access, but for now, I'm just is mass-upload mode...

I'm at 8471 myself without any PS1, PS2, Game Cube, NDS, Wii or MAME games added. Its slow but steady progress making the ultimate video game launcher.

Oh I didn't even consider PS2, I didn't realize emulation had come far enough for most titles to be playable. Atari: 2600, 5200, 7800, Jaguar, Lynx Nintendo: NES, SNES, N64, GB, GBA, GBC, Famicom Disk System Sega: Game Gear, Master System, Genesis, 32X, CD, Saturn (but only with a small ROM set) Dream Cast, Model 2, Model 3, Pico (I don't know why) Game 1000 Sony: PSP (I've found Emuparadise to be a good source although not the quickest because you have to get everything one at a time) NEC/Turbo Grafix 16: NEC PC Engine, SuperGrafix, Turbo Grafix 16 ColecoVision CPS3: (6 games) Crystal System (2 games) Neo Geo; Pocket, Pocket Color I have emulators and ROMs for quite a few more systems that I will eventually be adding. Jason has mentioned that he wants to change how LaunchBox handles MAME and other Arcade platforms recently hopefully this can be done since I would love to add my MAME directory to LaunchBox EDIT: Just added Virtual Boy and Turbo Graphix CD (both a small platforms)

8462 games now, and LaunchBox is completely overwhelmed :( I guess I'll stick with a simpler frontend for my full sets, and use LB to host my favorite games (which I won't be able to select without poking through the stuff I have in my full sets!)

I'm at 9031 now and no issues. What are your machine specs? I'm working with 16GB DDR3 Core i7 4770 and EVGA 750 TI running Windows 10 off of a 240GB SSD so I don't really have any issues.

Haha I basically have the same PC, right down to the graphics card. The only difference is my SSD is a little smaller. It's taking 4-5 seconds now to open a game properties window, which slows down my progress of fixing broken covers quite a lot. I guess "completely overwhelmed" was an overstatement, but it's definitely not as snappy as it was with just a few hundred games in it...

Yeah the property windows do take a few seconds but I've had that issue the whole time as long as it scrolls quickly and changes platforms fast then I can deal with the property windows and game launching taking a few seconds
