Viewing the full game description in Big Box mode

I've been enjoying Big Box so thanks again! How about this for a feature request. In Big Box, the game descriptions only show what will fit into the screen. What about the option to scroll down using the right analog stick to read the rest of the description?

Hi Ribbit, that's a great idea. So great, in fact, that it's already on the list. :) Hopefully I can tackle that soon. Big Box is overdue at this point. I'm in the process of adding EmuMovies integration, then hopefully I can get back to Big Box.

What specifically will this bring to LB/BB? is it a way to source video samples for each rom?

Yes, that is part of it. It's basically a new source of images, manuals, and videos. Unfortunately EmuMovies does require you to register in order to use it, and also requires a paid membership for the videos. But it will be a quick and painless way to get videos for the vast majority of your collection.

A related question to the description not fitting. When you select a game in Big Box mode you get the option to "Play" then followed by any additional apps you got. Sometimes the game title of a different language version, or a special version of a game is too long and you can't read it all. Will there be a way that when you move down to those they could scroll across so you could read the whole text? :)

Hi @polygonslayer, I do have a fix for that on my list. Planning on making titles that are too long auto-scroll left and right.
