DOS76
If you are using a controller then there isn't away to do so from LB if you use the autohotkey inside of LaunchBox it is the same as pressing alt+F4 on your keyboard if you press alt+F4 from your keyboard you will get the confirmation message ePSXe 2.0 doesn't have an option to turn off the confirmation. If you press escape from your keyboard it closes the game and since LB opens the game with no gui that is the end of the process if you open ePSXe outside of LB and hit escape it takes you back to the gui. so this is why escape works in LB but it doesn't outside of it. So unless Jason was to expand the AHK side of LB to include using another button combo to be escape or ePSXe adds the option to disable the confirmation then it isn't going to happen for you. You may be able to use something like Joy2Key or XPadder to make it work for you. Sorry for the long explanation. If any one else has figures away around this I'd be happy to have my theory on this proven wrong.

DOS76
Yes all prior versions of ePSXe have this issue. It on their side of things not LB's I started a ticket for this issue here is the link vote for it on the BitBucket page.
niglurion
It's strange, I don't have this problem and I can't explain why... In Launchbox, with ePSXe 2.0, the close process button combo works perfectly. Start + Select and everything closes without any message. I play often with it and never had this problem. Same thing on 1.9.5. -nogui and -loadbin are the only command lines I use. But I don't know why it works on my setup and not on yours... niglurion
Sorry for this double-post but I've found how I've made it working. I'm using another control plugin : LilyPad. I'm in love with it because we can use the Left Joystick as D-Pad (can't do it with the default plugin). It's the same plugin as the one in PCSX2. It's working since ePSXe 2.0. So, I've checked this option without notice it and now, closing ePSXe with the button combo in Launchbox works like a charm. Alt+F4 works without Launchbox or anything. No more error message, nor anything
DOS76
I don't even use the controller to exit my games but I tested it based on others users reporting the issue and I get it every time I try. So I don't know how it is letting you do it.
DOS76
Oh interesting is the plugin included and if not where can users get it.
DOS76
Ok I just copied the LilyPad plugin out of my PCSX2 folder into my ePSXe folder set it up and made sure that I checked that checkbox and now it exits without any messages so Thanks 2 niglurion for coming up with a solution for this. niglurion
Yes, I've done that too, just copied the LilyPad Plugin out of the PCSX2 folder into ePSXe. But the only purpose of that was to play with the left joystick and not only the d-pad on some games I'm glad it works for you
DOS76
Truthfully I just use my keyboard and don't have any trouble exiting I'm just trying to help the other users solve this issue. Thanks for being curious about it and helping us figure it out.
