Can we expect scummvm to be updated?

New version of scummvm just launched! Tried to manually update the files in launchbox but unfortunately it just reverts back. Can we expect this to be updated soon?

ScummVM is probably next on the list in terms of the systems we cover getting an overhaul. I wouldn't expect something in the next release unless there is a small bug that can get fixed in time, otherwise an overhaul will be down the line.

Oh an overhaul would be wonderful but I certainly don't expect that asap. This is just a small update. 1.8 just launched while launchbox is still using 1.7. Should be a very minor thing to update as far as i know.

Does ScummVM have any advantages over Dosbox, or run any games that it doesn't? Just curious.

ScummVM only works for a limited amount of games (they support more with every update, this one just added 10 more) but it runs them much nicer than dosbox does in my opinion. If scummvm supports the game i will use it over dosbox every time.
