Frakatchoo
I've import all my Amiga WHDload games in LaunchBox, but unfortunately no database for them. Roms are named like this : 1000Miglia_v1.1b.zip, BattleSquadron_v1.5_0941.zip, RodLand_v1.4_1509.zip, etc... Here the full Database XML from Hyperspin : http://hyperlist.hyperspin-fe.com/genall.php?system=50 It can be really cool to have the same database for LaunchBox, there around 2.000 Amiga WHDload games, and I look for the fastest way to rename correctly all my games in LaunchBox ;)
SentaiBrad
If you can request this on our BitBucket, that is the best place for this to go. Click Feature Request at the top of this page.
wasili
Since this was a recurring question and I couldn't find one I created a new bit bucket issue for it: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/issues/85/
SentaiBrad
This kind of ticket belongs in the the LaunchBox BitBucket as this is something we would implement for LaunchBox, not the Database. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/1048/amiga-whd-internal-name-conversion-like
Cabirus
I hope this gets implemented soon. Right now it's almost impossible to import and scrape WHDLoad-games due to the cryptic file names. An even better solution would be to scrape the OAGD, which has a very good database for Amiga games, much better than TheGamesDB. I suggested contacting Frode (Programmer of FS-UAE and OAGD) a while ago, but it seems nothing came of it? Anyway, keep up the good work! Launchbox is getting better every single day! SentaiBrad
We don't use The Games DB, we use our own database, so we can make all the changes we want. If we implement a system to convert the names when you import them in LaunchBox they'll then scrape fine. We already do this for Arcade for example.
