Lordmonkus
Mario64 with Hypatia's amazing texture pack. It really makes the game look amazing on a modern display. Lordmonkus
Yeah there are some really good Mario texture packs out there but this one is by far my favourite. It gives the game a really nice look, something like a cross between Paper Mario and Yoshi's Woolly World.
8Phantasm
There is no way to play Mario 64 in 60 FPS, right?
Lordmonkus
Not as far I know of, the framerates are locked in like the original console. I do know there are certain hacks and settings to unlock framerate but it causes other problems that are really bad and make things unplayable. I could be wrong though. 8Phantasm
Yeah, I don't have much experience with it but the ones that I tried were ok. At least you can overclock it to never drop below 30 like on WWF No Mercy. That game had horrible framerate at times, particularly when there were 4 players or AI on screen at once. I don't recall if Mario 64 ever dropped below 30 but if it does, the overclock most likely won't cause any issues. For games that you clock from 30 FPS to 60, I'm sure some have issues.
