Hi all

Does games not found in the Metadata cannot be added to launchbox when drag n drop?

You can drag and drop an icon file on to LaunchBox tell it it is a ROM and it will import it based on the info you give it it won't find any metadata unless say it is an icon named after a known game on a know platform but my point is you should be able to drag and drop anything into LB and add it as a game.

This is my point, I tried adding a game, but it was not been added.. so  I did this, choose another game that was added already, details, changed rom path to the file I was adding previously to make sure it was working and it did work.

I searched in the metada but the game was not found.  only 2 out of 3 of the rushing beat series as you can see in the image. So by dragging n drop it is not adding the game, I get 0 games added pop up

I aware that you have many ways to add files to launchbox, but I just wanted to point out this error...

It is probably trying to add it as one of the one you already have. LaunchBox sometimes has issues with games that are part I and II I've seen it on many occasions name both games part two on import try running it again but check the checkbox to allow duplicate games.

actually they have different file names,,, and where is the checkbox located ?

Its on this form of the import wizard.

You were right, it was thinking that it was 2nd game of the series.

Is there any tutorial on how to help to update the database ?

Do we use the same login and pass for the database section?

Links to the DB are at the top of the page Games DB I don't remember if you have to register or just use your login
