sloth11
so I have launchbox set up and have imported my fav Atari roms. I plugged a "wireless" ps4 controller into the computer with a USB cord. Now I can move around the menu screen, and select games using the controller. once the game launches though, only keyboard inputs are recognized. any help getting the ps4 controller to work with atari stella core would be great! thank you. it seems like it should just work, since it works fine in the menu. DOS76
Okay I'm not sure which controller you have the PS3 or PS4 but I believe that you need to a 3rd party software to get it to work in Windows. I don't use it and can't think of the name off hand.
sloth11
sorry typo there, I am trying to use a ps4 controller, mostly because its what I have on hand. I am not adverse to buying another option. if something is more compatible with launchbox?
DOS76
PS4 isn't compatible with Windows without software check this out it may help. Just make sure whatever you decide to get make sure it supports xinput. If your using Windows 10 XBox One controllers are reported to have driver issues frequently. Actually the article say what I put in the begining is incorrect so don't pay attention to me pay attention to the guide.
