retroarch n64

I can not get the mapen core to work anymore in retroarch even if I download a new version and update the cores.

But I stll have an old build zipped(just to be safe) and if I don't update the cores it works fine.

does anyone know if its broken atm before I start looking into why I cant get it to work on the new cores?

the Vulcan core works fine.

Latest core, just updated using wyzrds updater tool but using the 1.3.6 stable binary and works fine.
