Arcade
hi can you play old 3d games in dosbox
SentaiBrad
Yes, I've been playing Elder Scrolls 2 Daggerfall recently. Some games may have issues over others, and you may need to change around settings here and there. If you don't have a special conf file for the game (the exodos cxollection has specialized conf files for example), then looking online for the settings should help. Some versions of DOSBox may be better for it too, like DosBox-x or DOSBox LFN which are based on the more up-to-date SVN builds of DOSBox. Where you'll run into trouble is with 16-bit PC games. For those you'd have to do something like either install an appropriate version of Windows through DOSBox or setup a virtual environment with something like VirtualBox. That's doable but a bit of a pain. I've got a few games like Burn:Cycle and Dark Seed II setup to do this but it really is a hassle. Mid 90's stuff started moving to 32-bit and those are typically still playable in current Windows, though sometimes requiring a bit of tweaking or run through compatibility mode. Zombeaver
Shadows of the Empire was a W95 game so it might work natively in Windows, it might not. You'll just have to try it and see. It's also available on GOG. It doesn't appear to be on Steam though.
