hubz Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Not sure why but for some reason on Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle for Game Boy I am unable to edit info. As soon as I hit submit I get an error. Anybody else get that as well?
hubz Posted December 6, 2016 Author Posted December 6, 2016 Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
Jason Carr Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Oh duh, on the database. Sorry, for some reason I had my head in the app. Will review.
Vlansix Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Hi @hubz, We're looking into this now. Can you tell me if you're still experiencing this issue? If so, please add a link to the exact page that's giving you trouble, as I can't seem to replicate it on my end :).
hubz Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 Just tried it again but no luck, here's the URL that shows me the error - http://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/submitchanges/17765 The game i'm editing is - http://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/17765 Basically just wanted to change the Japan alternate name from Roger Rabbit to Mickey Mouse as on the Gameboy in Japan it is Mickey Mouse, on the FDS it was Roger Rabbit.
Vlansix Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 There we go. Should be fixed now. Good catch, by the way. I've been seeing this error in the logs and was wondering where it was coming from. You helped a ton :).
hubz Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 Nice! Just was lucky (or unlucky haha) enough for it to happen on one of the games I was editing But haven't seen that on anything else yet.
Vlansix Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Exception handler implemented. Closing thread.
