SentaiBrad
It looks like that version of .Net is still available for Windows 7 SP1, so I am confused, unless you've never updated your install of Windows 7. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49981
Slamshut71
I don't know but my pc is rejecting it I'll try again though
Slamshut71
Ok so are you saying to upgrade windows 7 ?
DOS76
He asked about updates not an upgrade. There is a huge difference. Do you regularly update your version of Windows? Does the version of .NET include earlier version and do they have to be installed in order to install that version of .NET? Slamshut71
Sorry I misspoke! I meant was I supposed to update windows 7 ? If I'm not mistaken currently Microsoft isn't supporting windows 7 updates anymore. I could be wrong though .could it be the fact that I did a system restore to factory settings ? DOS76
Are you on Regular Windows 7 and not SP1 if so you should update to the Service Pack. Windows 7 SP1 will continue to receive security updates and and redistributable packs until 2020 Edited December 19, 2016 by DOS76
massticles
Yes, make sure your win 7 install is currently up to date. Only windows versions previous to 7 are no longer supported by MS. 1 hour ago, Slamshut71 said: Sorry I misspoke! I meant was I supposed to update windows 7 ? DOS76
Windows 7 is no longer supported unless you have the service pack Vista with SP2 is supported until April 11th 2017 Edited December 19, 2016 by DOS76
Slamshut71
Ok I found the previous version before the update .I think the update needs to be tweaked to respond better to older pcs woth windows 7 mine is about 5 years old so I'll just go with version 4.3 but the problem I'm having now is that when I try to drag the zipped roms I have or even the ones I've opened I'm getting an error saying they are too big or are to far away ( scratching head )
SentaiBrad
You're trying to use LaunchBox 4.3? We can not help or support for older versions of LaunchBox really, so you will be completely on your own.
