ChefHeath Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Hi all, I just downloaded MAME 0.181 and the split Rom set for that version and tried importing into Launchbox. Everything seemed to import fine with all the accompanying metadata until I tried to play a game. MAME looks to be booting up and I get the initializing... pop up and then it kicks me back into Launchbox. I've tried playing quite a few different games and ended up with the same result. Any suggestions? Quote
DOS76 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Are your games in the default MAME roms folder or did you move them into LB. MAME by default is looking for them in the MAME root folder in a folder named ROMs if they are anywhere else you will have to go into the MAME.ini and edit the path to match yours. Quote
SentaiBrad Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 If you let LaunchBox move your roms too, it only moved over the roms that it was making in to game entries, but every other rom files needs to also be in the same directory, even if you're not launching it from within LaunchBox. Quote
