Close game with keypress

I currently have bigbox setup to close games with select+start. However, this doesnt work with some pc games. I have a collection of old RPGMaker games like A Blurred Line and Barkley, Shut up and Jam Gaiden which will not close using this method. Anyone found a good solution for this?

Not for most external application games. RPGMaker titles and Flash games. It does however work with Clickteam Fusion games.
