Controller automation - emu exit issue

I recently installed Launchbox but I am not able to make exit function works, everything on the controller works fine but when I am hit the button combination to exit emulator I see a bit of flash on the game (like brightness increase for like 1 sec) and nothing happens. I tried on mame and Deplhin  emu but no luck plus have same issue on both launchbox and Big Box. I am using Xbox360 controller.

i'd advise first that you work on exiting the emulator on its own using Escape without Launchbox or controller automation. once it works on its own, i think it will work with LB.

is it possible your controller automation button combination is also triggering a hotkey or something in the emulator you are trying? did you try any other button combos? it works fine for me in MAME and Dolphin with an xbox 360.

Edit: you aren't running anything else for the xbox 360 like Xpadder, are you?
