system platforms not shows in left panel within launchbox

hi can anyone help i on beta 7.8 and my systems panel on the left of launchbox isnt showing up it is  there within bigbox .i have attached a pic to explain better.the system panel had all my systems on the left side .now its like this ref picture.

i cant seem to find how to change the view

any help would be great

Go to View -> Side Bar or press Ctrl + S and it should come back.

brad have you done a video on milti discs games on some systems yet

I did do a tutorial on merging and expanding roms, but I am no longer doing the tutorials. Or are you talking about for certain systems? For some, in RetroArch there is the swap button, some you might have to switch it in the UI, most games you can make a save state, load the second disc and then load the save state, or in other cases like PS1 you can combine the discs and save space by combining and compressing games in a PBP (which also bypasses archives).
