That topic was closed due to people venting.  Anyway.   Once the program loads i am fine it's just the initial startup.    I understand that this is on the list.   thanks

Yea, it was closed for a good reason. xD I don't mind people creating new threads, like this, but I still want to make sure everyone gets the tips from the first post. The software tips Monkus and I made there though will still help that. Keep in mind, if you're opening Big Box and you have a big library, you're opening it right as Windows is still booting, or your PC is under a heavy load, then it will take a bit longer to load up. Mine currently takes about 25 seconds or so, and that's normal.

Can confirm that mine was running like trash on every view that had a video background. Cleaned all codecs and installed K-Lite codec's and it runs like an absolute dream now.

It takes about 20 - 30  seconds to load LB or BB based on my system specs above,    If I were to backup the data and then add them one at a time would this work for troubleshooting?
