Retroarch binding save state to left analogue

Hi guys. I'm having this problem whenever I press up on my steam controllers analogue stick. It keeps saving new save states. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm using default bindings

Try going to Settings > Input > Input Hotkey Binds and changing the key for Save state

The key for save state is +1 (N/A) (Key: f2). 

I can't get rid of the +1 binding (which i imagine is what my left analog up is.  What the heck?  I even went into my retroarch config but i don't see the +1 binding there.  it looks like
input_save_state = "f2"
input_save_state_btn = "nul"
input_save_state_axis = "nul"

I'm not sure what's up.

I would suggest asking on the Retroarch forums or Discord about it, it might be a known Steam controller bug or issue.

Do you use a steam shortcut to start launchbox?

Is Big Picture running in the background?

Have you checked the default desktop profile in the steam controller config?

Is Retroarch identifying your controller correctly & associating it with the steam controller profile?

Sorry guys.  User error.  I wasn't loading my custom config for the n64 core in retroarch in the startup options.
