falwynn Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Hi folks, I love launchbox and bigbox, and have it all setup just how I want. I want to basically back everything up and install it on a new computer with minimal fuss. I tried just copying the launchbox folder, my emulators, etc.... but it then Launchbox won't run on the other computer... I'm guessing I need to install it and then copy config files, etc. Anyone done this and have any advice on how to proceed? Wayne Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lordmonkus Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Does your other computer have the updated .NET and DIrect X files on it ? It should run just copying it over though depending on how you have everything setup like emulator and rom locations you may have to make some adjustments on the other computer. If you have your emulators and roms in sub folders of your LB install folder it should be fine. ETA Prime did a video about making your Launchbox portable and putting it on a USB drive but everything applies to another PC as well.
