zloaf
I'm on an I5-3570k at 4.0 ghz, 16 gig ddr 3, R9 390, and bigbox on an SSD; however, it runs at about 10 FPS even with both themes that it comes with. I have confirmed this with my FPS overlay. The settings in bigbox are to run at 60 FPS w/ vsync. The speed and input lag are so slow as to be unusable. Any advice on how to improve this? I notice if i have a plain background, and am not moving - it will peg it at 8-10fps if i start scrolling it will go up to 60. then return down if i stop. However if i have a background video playing, it will play at the fps of the background video (usually 30). Assume its simply the way it functions.
