games launch but controllers do not work have to launch pcsx2 outside of launchbox and run full boot in boardered screen and controlers work fine any ideas would be greatly apprieated

Add these command lines parameters.

--nogui --fullscreen --fullboot

No that does not work in fullscreen i have to press the windows key then it all works might be a windows update thing was working before that..... thanks anyway i use the --fullboot now.

Check in the Config > Video > Window Settings window and see if Default to fullscreen mode on open is checked.

yes all the same im running windows 10 pro ad it updated last week and the controller issue has only been since then ill try uninstalling it and see if it works again

It could be a Windows update that messed up your controller, it's certainly something that has been seen before.

if i run it outside of launchbox and run as administrator it seems to mork can you run as administrator threw launch/big box ????

Right click the emulator executable go to properties > compatibility tab, at the bottom check run this program as administrator.
