palroj
Hello, I've recently discovered LaunchBox and immediately loved it. I've spent the last days reading, testing and configuring stuff, the usual. One of the things that I really wanted was to have two controllers working connected (via USB) to my PC running Windows 7 (64 bit). I have a PS3 controller and a generic controller (that I also use with my PS3). Both show up in my device manager: But only the USB Gamepad allows me to successfully test its controls: So I started reading about it and discovered a piece of software called InputMapper. Installed it, watched some videos and read about it and tested it. Unfortunately with the latest version (1.6.10.19991) I never was able to have my controllers recognized, simply nothing showed up: So I kept trying and found found SCP Server :http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller I followed the instructions and soon I had both controllers working, I was able to test them and play games with both at the same time within LaunchBox. Success! Unfortunately, after restarting the computer all is gone again and now I'm back to square one except that I can't have my controllers recognized anymore. In the SCP Monitor all controllers show as "disconnected": So my question is: is there any guide as to how I can do this? Before I had both Input Mapper and the SCP DS3 Server running at the same time, I honestly don't know which was doing the work anymore Thanks Edited August 30, 2017 by palroj
palroj
This might have been a stupid question, but since I've managed to get this working and that might help someone in the future I'll answer my own question, I had to do a couple of things: - Uninstalled InputMapper and use only the SCP Server - I had to add the SCPServer.exe file to the Windows startup so that whenever I restart the computer I don't have to install everything again. Seems to have solved the problem, I can connect my controllers to my laptop and they'll be immediately recognized and I use them inside Launchbox. Just need to configure them in each emulator.
