Organizing Games

I'm just not finding a way to organize games that I like.  I am using big box and just Mame for now.  Id like a way to have a list of my favorites in one section say under Arcade, but then have the remainder of the games still in there under another section.  I went through once and spent a few hours picking all my favorites. I must of done something wrong because I lost all the favorites.  

 

Finally I also would like to prune about half of the roms so they are never show at all.  

 

Whats the easiest way to accomplish this?

You can put your favorites in a Playlist. To make some not show in LB, you can either mark them as Hidden or just delete them from LB (not deleting the rom files).
