Steam games import not working

So, all of the sudden, I'm unable to automatically import Steam games into Launchbox. I've imported tons of games in the past via the Steam Import Wizard, but now it just sits on the "Please wait while parsing your Steam account" screen forever.

 

Does anyone have any idea why this would suddenly start happening? It worked before, but just sort of stopped recently. I'd like to add a few new games I've collected.

Steam api for LB was killed and Jason needed to get a new one in order to use Steam you have to either update to a beta where it has been fixed or hang on for a day or three when 8.0 will be officially released.

Oh no wonder...i just bought LB and imported mame roms just fine but couldn't use the Steam import function since Saturday.  Looking forward to 8.0 then, thanks!

Is Steam import broken again in the newest version? I was trying to import a new game and it seems to not be working again.

@Jencaasi it worked for me as soon as I updated to v8 and I just tried it now (import Steam games).  Went through the wizard and it works for me.

I'm also using v8.1 and you're right, import Steam games is *not* working right now. 
It did for me earlier but it's hanging like before.

Importing Steam games is not working for me either. I was using version 8.1 and it didn't work. I tried version 8.2-beta-2 and it still isn't working. It either says my Steam account could not be accessed (I did use the correct id and my profile is set to public) or it stays on the parsing screen forever and never gets anywhere.

Yes it is broken there is an issue with the API Jason is working on a fix. No time table but hopefully it won't be long
