SEGA CD games infinite loop on BIOS screen.

With any rom set I download from sources other than Emuparadise, the SEGA CD emulators fail to launch them. Are there differences in .bin .cue files?

There are bad dumps out there so yeah you can run into then on certain sites. The internet archive has good disk images and if you are using an emulator that supports CHD files the Mame Software List CHD set has those.
