Is it normal that Emumovies downloads take an eternity even with a paid account?

I am importing my MAME romset and downloading everything with a paid Emumovies subscription - I figured paying for it would mean that it'd be fast. But after nearly 24 hours I'm barely 5% in and I even deselected all videos but the theme videos. It seems to take minutes to even download a simple picture. Is that normal? I have a 50 mbit connection otherwise and everything else is pretty fast.

Usually my downloads are very fast. You using the FTP I take it?
