It makes it easy to discover new stuff I might enjoy, and they're perfect for building autoplaylists. But these genres don't match up with the basic one-word genres used for all other games in the LaunchBox database. Why are they different? Can anything be done about it? Quote

That is just how the MAME devs do genres, and we use the MAME data in order to import MAME correctly. Quote
