Gaah! Can’t get pause to work with controller

In bigbox I’ve mapped the controller automation pause to the button, ok

Load game (retroarch)

push button

nothing

Any ideas?

Its supposed to be a combo, you need a "Hold" button as well as the one to actually activate the pause.
