GamerDragon Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 So I am having a problem that a number of other people have had, but with a twist: None of my graphical presets from mame.ini are working. Settings I had changed in mameui64 alone, don't seem to hold when I try to launch the game from inside Launchbox. I tried the solution of putting a copy of mame.ini in the root alongside the mameui64 executeable, but that has only resulted in an error claming that Mame could not find the rom files for the game I was trying to load. It found them fine before I put the copy of mame.ini in the root, and removing mame.ini from the root again returns everything back to normal, with the game loading fine. DOS76 Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 I don't know what the issue is but MAME is having issues with settings from the .ini. I had to switch to MAMEUI because no matter what I set MAME wouldn't play on my main monitor and wanted to keep launching on my secondary.it was a real PITA and now I have to use a emulator that I really don't prefer to use.
