retrogames4me
I'm slowly building my collection and have run into an issue. Last night I was able to play N64 games using Launchbox/RetroArch with both the Mupen64 core and Parallel core. Today when trying to launch an N64 game with either core RetroArch crashing saying it has stopped responding. I'm seeing a very odd event in my logs on this machine. I've tried a new install of RetroArch, Launchbox/Big Box, and I've tried launching on 4 different computers including the original culprit since this is a portable application". I'm seeing the exact same issues on all 4 workstations which are all running Windows 8.1. Any thoughts on what I can do to troubleshoot this? Project 64 runs these flawlessly when running through that directly. Here's my output from the event log. This is consistent on all 4 machines that this is happening on, and nothing was changed between last night at 11pm and today at 10am. Nothing except shutting down the machine, and powering it back up today. retrogames4me
Just finished testing legacy versions of RetroArch all the way back to version 1.7 and none of them work when launching N64 on these machines and produce the same error above. I've also tested every video driver available within RetroArch with the exact same results. this is only happening with N64. Retro808
I did not see it mentioned and is one of the first things we often ask. Is this happening when launched directly in Retroarch? (Without using Launchbox)
