The Mexico Conundrum

Hey folks.

I have been contributing on the games database for several months, and this is the first time I am posting on the forum. I got a tiny problem with some country specifications.

I was uploading a some materials that were exclusive to the Mexico region. Now, we do not have a Mexico category, so the next best thing is North America; however some folks are insisting that Mexico is South America, which is absolutely incorrect. It would even be a stretch to consider Mexico being part of Central America.

Now we have the following options:

1. Standardize Mexico being part of North America
2. Add a category for just Mexico
3. Or, forgivably, add a Latin America category.

What would be your direct approach on this?

Hey @Monodi how are you?

The logical thing to do would be to standardize Mexico as part of NA, however this will create confusion over the vast majority of the users (even Canada as NA gets some folks confused as they think that US = NA).

My recommendation would be to add a category label "Mexico", the same way as Brazil has its own category (and does not pertain to neither South America category nor Latin America).
