Question about Consolidation from a n00b

Hi guys. I fonally finished importing all my roms sets from MAME, both arcade and console sets complete. Looking through my library, it's a little annoying seeing multiples of the same game on display. Therefore I'm thinking of consolidating all my games. From what I understand the way consolidation works, LB basically combines roms with the same name into one game in your library. I decided to give it a try with my NES roms....however after I consolidating my NES roms, I still see several duplicates in the list. For example, I have 3 Bases Loaded roms.....basload.zip, basloada.zip and basloadb.zip. Why didn't LB combine these into one game?

Also, before consolidating your roms, launchbox warns you that once the operation is complete, the results cannot be undone? Is this really true? Because there is an option to uncombine roms when you right click ones that have already been combined(consolidated).

Yeah you can uncombine each game game separately but there is no bulk way of doing it.
