dpc5555 Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 A week back I had an issue with Launchbox where the program was not loading correctly. Though I fixed it, the program is acting a little buggy now and I lost some data (some emulators disappeared, some assets), so I am trying to go back and re-set up the program to how it was. One particular issue I am having is with .lnk files. Any time I try to load one (for example, with Bluestacks games) I get the message "An error occurred while trying to launch the game: The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform". I currently have the the full .lnk file in the application path and the emulator box checked, with command prompt as the emulator. Any ideas of what I may be missing? Thanks! Quote
Retro808 Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Are you running LB stable version or the latest beta? If beta this is a known issue. Also if you are running the beta it is always best to post issues in the beta thread. Quote
dpc5555 Posted August 3, 2020 Author Posted August 3, 2020 Thanks - it looks like I am running beta. Good to know that it is not specific to my setup. For now I will hold tight until the next stable release. Quote
