Early Acess as a GameType

I feel like Early Access would be a useful and valid option to add to the GameTypes.

Not sure if this has been requested before but I'm making this post to request it.

Not a bad idea, fuzzlefluff, though I'm not sure it's worth adding another game type for it, primarily because most early access games are released eventually anyways. So any game that was put in as early access would then need to be changed later to released. I think I'd rather just put them in as released (as they were indeed released, even if they are early access).

I would point out that some games never leave early access.

Plus it would be fun to see what games in my library are in an EA state.

If it never happens it's not big deal but I feel like it would be a nice thing to keep track of.

Gotcha. You can certainly still do it in your local collection. Unfortunately though, even if we did add the option to the games database, it would be a long while before games were actually updated with the proper values, since they would all need to be updated by the community.
