deadtrickz
Hello all! I'm hoping someone can help me understand why this is happening suddenly. https://imgur.com/a/1gk4btS Basically, all new games, using the scan tool, are being added to platforms they shouldn't be in. My folder are all named properly and each platform is only assigned the folder name it is. So say i add snes 1942. The scraper then adds to to systems its not assigned to like Dreamcast, gamecube, n64 etc. The images should show exactly what happening..just wondering if anyone knows how to help me fix this. deadtrickz
Anyone have input? Wiped all platforms and have been adding 1 platform and updating..repeat. The second i tried to add 3 platforms and update it tried to add all games into all platforms. All games are in their own folders with 0 subfolders. deadtrickz
Anyone think it could be the last option when scraping? "combine roms with the same name into a single game?"
Your Friendly A.I Overlord
Out of curiosity I scanned for added roms. And indeed I see the same thing you see. A single file gets assigned to all the different platforms I have. Maybe a moderator can look at this? For now if you add roms from scratch to a platform, you should use the import wizard. That works as intended. And if you want to add just a couple of roms, you can drag & drop them onto your platform. 1
deadtrickz
I had to erase my platforms, which sucks because there are so many at this point. But 1 by 1 is working as intended. I'll give dragging and dropping a try when I add the few stragglers i never added so thank you for that! and thank you for the reply!! PixelDragon
Same problem here, I think it's a regression from the last update. I hope this will be fixed with the next one.
C-Beats
Are you scanning for added roms for a specific platform or for all platforms?
C-Beats
Never mind, I found the issue. Should be resolved in the next beta release.
