retro6
Hi again everyone, first thanks for your time and effort as always. Launchbox is geting better and better My Issue I am trying to get rid of RocketLauncher at last. Don't get me wrong i love it. But it is starting to give me trouble so i decided to slowly get it out of my live !too many hacks, mappers etc, etc you guys now much better than me. Everything is going quite well so far, i have changed some Emulators and so on. But got 2 little problems with RetroArch. And this is where my question starts. First: Is there a way i can do a Per Game config in one system selecting a diferent core which is not set by default? Example (Rom Name) normaly uses fbneo by default but on this specific game i need it to run with mame. Second: Extract rom archive before running. I have this set by default because of having zip archives to save space (OBVIOUS) ......But as you now cores like fbneo and so on, only read the files in zip folders. So i need a way to specificly set it to OFF in arcade systems. But as soon i turn if OFF it doas it for all of theme ¿is there a way to do a config per game or per game system for the extraction option? Well thank you very very much for your time and sorry for my terrible English. Edited May 27, 2021 by retro6

Right click the game, head to edit, then the Emulation tab, check the box for command line then add the load core command there, so for example -L "cores\core_name.dll" 3 hours ago, retro6 said: Extract rom archive before running. Personally i dont archive anything except for arcade. you really are saving very minimal space indeed, so the extra load times just are not worth that trade off for me, but if you insist on it you really only have one option. 1. Add another emulator entry for Retroarch but give it a different name, like Retroarch 2, or Retroarch no Unzip and point it to your same retroarch.exe you already setup, then use the options you want like unchecking the extraction box and tell those systems to use that emulator entry instead.
