how to get video previews in big box?

so ive spent 2 days scraping all my media for my roms. When in bigbox using a theme that includes video snap shots it just displays a screen shot or pause video (best way to describe it) where there video should be. ive made sure to scrape videos when scraping and i have Vlc selected in the options, if i select windows media player than the screenshot/paused video doesnt show at all.

any ideas?

Snaps need a paid premium emumovies subscription, do you have one?
