Playtime Tracker Migration

View File

This Python script migrates playtime data from the Playtime Tracker plugin to a native LaunchBox playtime entry introduced in 12.5.

Python 3 is required.

To use, either launch the script from LaunchBox directory
OR
pass path to LaunchBox as the first argument, for example:

python migrate_launchbox_playtime.py "C:\Programs\LaunchBox"

WARNING: This script OVERWRITES playtime already specified in LaunchBox with playtime from Playtime Tracker (if present),
so playtime counted by LaunchBox but not Playtime Tracker will be overwritten!
However, games without a Playtime Tracker entry present at all will remain untouched.

Could you help me with this?.Your Scrip is working perfect, but in Launchbox now I have two time trackers, the old one and the new one and in Big Box only appears the old one.Im trying with the default theme and with CriticalZoneV2 - BlueBox, that is that Im using.

I need to delete the old one somehow or do anything else?

Thanks!.

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm getting crazy trying to make it work. I have 0 knowledge about programming, scripting etc. so I can't figure out how to make it run.

I've installed Python 3 and I tried absolutely everything I found on the web to make this script run, but the only result I've had after many tries is a very fast command prompt that says something like "0 cleared" on many lines, but it is too fast to read. Watching on Launchbox, I still don't have the playtime imported from Playnite, so obviusly I'm doing something wrong.

Please somebody tell me how to do it.
