Launchbox\Core directory issues

When using Big Box, the default theme CriticalZoneV2 gives an error saying it can't find its files in the Launchbox\Core\Themes folder. The 2 plugins I've tried also give errors trying to find files in that Launchbox\Core folder. The folder exists and has all of the actual program files, however everything else just goes in the root Launchbox folder, e.g. Launchbox\Themes and Launchbox\Data instead of Launchbox\Core\Themes and Launchbox\Core\Data.

I reinstalled the application with default settings and the same structure is replicated.

Is this normal behavior?

Are you using LB on an external drive?

If so, check what format the drive is. This is behavior seen in cases where the external drive is ExFat. LB should be on an NTFS formatted drive.

Yeah it is installed on an external ExFat drive. Would it work if I dragged everything into that core directory or something, or is there no workaround and I'd need to ensure it's an NTFS drive?

You can try CBeats steps in this thread. Look at his last post. Just be sure to copy the \Themes folder and not the \LBThemes. So in his step replace \LBThemes with \Themes.

Best would be if you can get things off that drive temporarily and reformat to NTFS.
