fuller1021
Firstly, I was wondering if people were still having trouble getting Redream to launch games through Launchbox? Im on an Nvidia Shield with the horrific new Android 11 and the latest Beta you just made available and I do have all my Dreamcast games launching with Redream from the playstore. Didnt know if people were still having troule with that or not. Secondly, I just wanna say Thank You Jason/Launchbox Team for all of your hardwork on the Android Development Side. When you feel like pulling your hair out because of things like scoped storage and whatever other wonderous brainchild google will push forward next, I want you to know your work does NOT go unappreciated. Thank you very much.

I haven't tested it on the Shield TV, but it's definitely not working on my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Thanks for the kind words and support. My hair is gone, but we're getting there. fuller1021
LOL! Well in todays age, if you lost your hair, you could probably sue for loss of ages. And bad Dad jokes aside, yes I got Launchbox to launch games with Redream after messing around with it for what felt like hours last night on my Shield TV. Thankful i dont have hair to lose or i wouldnt know who to blame first. Google for this awful scoped storage or Nvidia for the most broken update ive ever seen. Anyways i dont know if its something you want to put out there but its a personal fix i found anyways. So i had to open Redream and click along the top where it says LIBRARY, then ADD DIRECTORY. After clicking that it brings up the shields file browser for you to click on the folder where your roms are but it wont actualy sow you any files or folders. So the workaround i used was to click on the 3-Line HamburgerMenu on the top left and then click on my external drive. Then (you wont know it because it just shows a giant hourglass and none of your folders) but the browser wil ave you at the root of your external drive. Now click the Icon on the top right to ADD FOLDER. Add a new folder with any name and then click USE THIS FOLDER along the bottom. Now Redream wil have access to your external storage and will launch your roms through launchbox. You can move your roms into the new folder you just made if you wish to have redream detect them standalone (without launchbox) but if youre ONLY launching your games through launchbox then it doesnt matter where on your storage your Deamcast roms are located (you can leave your pre existing rom folder where it was) Sorry so long winded, just wanted to be thorough incase other users want to use these steps. Thanks again for all your hard work Jason!
