jeffl1975
I have a question about how to put the movies on my SD card. I recently installed the 1.0 update and love that we can now use movies but the issue for me is storage. My device only has 32GB of internal storage (retroid pocket 2 +) so I want to move them to my SD card (have a 400GB sd card). I have my SD card set up as portable storage so I can place my rom collection on my sd card. I used a file manager to copy the contents of the Launchbox folder and copied them over to my sd card. When I go to the options to chose data folder and change it to my SD card I keep getting the error that the directory is not set up to allow read/write permissions in Android. I am thinking this is because I have the SD card set up as portable storage and not as storage for apps. I really need it set up as potable storage as I have my roms on the SD card as portable storage. Does anyone now I way around this? Is there a way to give read/write permission to the launchbox folder that is now on my SD card?
jeffl1975
I found out how to do this, I just needed to move launchbox to the folder on the SD card /Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox/files Works perfectly now
viking
Hi @jeffl1975, I'm waiting for my Retroid 2+ and I'm going to have the same issue as you. Your solution move the entire LaunchBox installation, right? Everything works well after? After this move, if you add new platforms and new media, they go on the SD without problem? Thanks for your feedback !
