Launchbox error on startup, every time. BigBox appears to be fine.

This just started happening a few minutes ago.

I closed LaunchBox normally and went to relaunch it and now it always pops up the attached error message.

BigBox has no such problem, though, and launches fine.

Any ideas?

I can ignore the error and do stuff inside of LaunchBox otherwise.  Not sure HOW MUCH I can do with this error in the background, but I found I didn't have any issue edited some emulator settings without clicking "Close" on the error message.

Would appear that the window that appears when entering that side bar view is failing to display properly. Try changing the side bar filter to "Platforms" then closing LaunchBox and re-opening it. If on re-open it still opens to "Games Missing Media" you can try the following:

1) Close LaunchBox, ensure the process is no longer in task manager
2) Navigate to \\LaunchBox\Settings\Data\Settings.xml
3) Open the file and remove the lines starting with "<SideBarField>" (without quotes) and "<SideBarValueId>" (without quotes)
4) Save the changes, close the file, and re-open LaunchBox
