MAME: Launchbox not Playing any Street Fighter 3 Game

Hello,

I am trying to launch Street fighter 3 third strike. But the screen blinks and I am back to the launchbox. Anyone who can help me fix this issue.

Do you have the CHD files? All CPS3 games need them.

So I downloaded a different rom and it had a CHD file but when I am trying to import that zip file, launchbox is showing it empty.

Roms and CHD's are separate files. The CHD needs to be extracted to its own folder. You do not import CHD's to Launchbox just put the folder in the same folder as your roms, the name should also match the rom name, MAME should see and load the data automatically.

Thank you so much. I have done this and noted something weird at first. 

The CPS3 interface said that a disk is detected. Do you wanna overwrite the Data? I did that and it took around 20 minutes and one of the SF3 is running.

Most of the CPS3 games have a NO-CD version of the rom with no CHD requirements.

Thats correct, you can hold down insert to fast forward somewhat.
