AniDeMOne Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 I was wondering how do you automatically start a game if it has a pre setup screen when launched. Like spiderman remastered and avengers, it always goes to the setup graphics screen first instead of going to the actual game. It wouldn't be a problem if I could use my controller to press play, but it's mouse only. Also it's not focused on that screen it's behind a lunchbox black screen. Quote
neil9000 Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 (edited) I believe Spiderman you can use -nolauncher in steam, so that will probably work when added as a command line in Launchbox. Edited August 16, 2022 by neil9000 Quote
neil9000 Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 The pcgamingwiki is a great resource for this sort of stuff. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered - PCGamingWiki PCGW - bugs, fixes, crashes, mods, guides and improvements for every PC game Marvel's Avengers - PCGamingWiki PCGW - bugs, fixes, crashes, mods, guides and improvements for every PC game looks like both games use the same -nolauncher according to the pc gaming wiki. Also FYI PC games with some sort of "launcher/configuration" window before booting into the actual game usually have more than one .exe file due to this. One is typically the launcher/configuration window, and the other being the actual game. In some instances you can simply boot from the game .exe file instead. So you could point LB/BB to launch that .exe file instead. There are some games that don't like this and will not boot unless you go through the expected sequence meaning the launcher/config window.
