MS-DOS plays video instead of game

Hi, I followed the tutorial here

 . But when starting the game in launchbox it plays a video of the game and if I press the spacebar it fast forwards until the end then exits into retroarch. I can launch the game in retroarch and it works fine. Dos box pure

Sounds to me like you simply imported videos into Launchbox rather than games. I'd check your paths on the games playing videos, pretty sure they will not be pointing at any games at all.

Yes thats what it was. The ROMS where there but also had a folder with videos of the games etc. and it was picking that up instead haha.

Yeah you need to be careful if just adding a folder. Launchbox is file agnostic, so will add any files it finds in the folder path you provide.
