Phlyp
Is there a way to hide the emulator start up screen when launching a game? If I start a PS2 game with PCSX2 or a GC/WII game with Dolpin, there's a brief point in between launchbox and the emulator that the emulator windows flash before loading to full screen and on with the game. With retroarch it jumps right into the game without this lag in between, very seamless and ideal. I have tried checking the boxes to hide windows on start up, and I just tried the "aggressively hide windows on start up" but that does not seem to have fixed the issue... It's pretty annoying . Is there something else I should be doing? I saw a launchbox tutorial YT video from ETA Prime about the dolphin emulator setup guide and he had a loading for soul calibur 2 that seems to have hid the dolphin boot up process but I can't seem to find any specifics on how he did that. Any insights?
Retro808
If you are using a paid license version and not freeware you can use the Startup screens in LB. Likely what you see ETA using.
