norwichred
Hi everyone. So I have launchbox. I am adding platform by platform. I have a decrypted rom to test - super Mario 3D Land. It works fine in Citra standalone but when I try to load in either of the two available cores in retroarch it starts to land the rom and then closes back to the desktop. So - standalone emulator it is. Except there's no option to enter Citra in launchbox It doesn't appear in the drop down box and you can't just type Citra into the field. So I can set the path fine but it still wants Citra typed into the emulator field which I can't do. What am I missing? Thanks in advance
norwichred
The error message I get if I type Citra manually is "Please enter at least one applicable platform in the grid"
norwichred
I am pointing to that. I still get the error message
norwichred
I can see a message you responded in my email but not on the forums. Yes - I think it's asking me to associate a platform to the emulator. However - I have chosen the platform (Nintendo 3DS) and then I get the "add emulator" screen which is where I get this error message So I guess the question is - how do I associate it correctly to prevent the error? Retro808
1 hour ago, norwichred said: The error message I get if I type Citra manually is "Please enter at least one applicable platform in the grid" This is not an error. It is simply telling you that you have to add a platform name to the Associated Platforms tab. When you add Citra manually during a rom import you also have to add the name to the Associated Platform list for the emulator itself. In the screen where you fill in the emulator name and Application Path on the left hand side you should see a tab called "Associated Platform". Click that and add the exact name of the platform you gave for your emulator. It needs to be the exact way you named the platform.
norwichred
Thank you for that! I appreciate it. I’ll try as soon as I get home.
norwichred
Thank you - that solved the issue. I'm appreciative. I had actually tried that screen, but I hadn't realised you could type the platform in manually. It wasn't in the drop down so I came on here. I should have tried I guess. Thanks again!
