weird scrolling/cursor drift issue

My dedicated arcade cabinet has been up and functional for a few years, but the other day it did something new.  The system boots into bigbox, and it was quickly scrolling through the wheel without any intervention.  I thought a key/joystick might be stuck, or a wiring issue, but I couldn't find anything.  Same issue after multiple reboots.  Now it gets weird.  If I close bigbox and open any other app, everything behaves fine.  But if I open launchbox (not bigbox), my cursor immediately starts pulling to the upper right corner.  I can't fight it enough to use it, it pulls to quick to upper right.  Clicking outside of the app onto desktop stops the issue and it behaves normally.  But if launchbox gets the focus again it starts again.   What would cause this sudden phantom scrolling?  Its only in launchbox/bigbox.  I did a full backup restore of all the XMLs from a few days ago, but it didn't help.   I cant figure it out.  Any ideas?

Sounds like a typical issue when using the "Use All Controllers" settings and you have certain controllers hooked up into your machine. Wheels especially are known to do this and Big Box has a setting in it's options to ignore some of those problematic controls.

while I do sometimes use controllers, at this point none are hooked up.  I only have joysticks hooked up through a ipac keyboard encoder.

I have the exact same issue! How do you get to the "Use All Controllers" if I can't use the mouse?
