Why do bezel art downloads get stuck so frequently?

It seems almost every time I import something, there is a pretty decent chance it's going to hang on some bezel project download. Is there a reason why this is predictably true?

 

Usually, what I do is cancel, which actually does nothing. I have to kill the LB process. Then I delete the downloadqueue xml from the data folder. After that, what more would I need to do to sort of pick up where I left off? Or am I in a half done kind of state at that point?

Did a bit more reading and now I realize it's github. Didnt know that.
