BabyBillyFreeman
Hi guys, hoping someone can help me solve a weird one I haven't come across before. What happened? The other day I was updating some of my personal LB builds and everything was going fine. On one LB build, I simply downloaded the "big details" theme through the LB themes manager. After LB restarted, I always get the following error and LB crashes everytime: For clarity, this is the theme I downloaded with LB's built in theme manager: The theme basically corrupted this specific LB build (but works fine with about 5 other LB builds) for some reason. Does anyone know of a way to recover LB through the xml files? I would hate to lose this specific build, as I've put a loooot of hours into it.... Thanks everyone for any help! BabyBillyFreeman
So after reading my own post, I got curious and found that you can go to the //Data/Settings.XML and edit the following "theme" parameter from "Big Details" to "Default"; save the xml and relaunch LB and it works again by loading the default theme. Figured I'd share that info in case anyone else came across this same issue!
C-Beats
As stated in theme manager, that theme requires version 13.4 or newer to function correctly. You are on 13.3. If you do not wish to upgrade to 13.3 you can download an older version of Big Details from the forums

Im using the latest update of Launchbox, this error text is appears every time I enter a system, its doesnt matter if I fix the theme or uninstall and install the theme again, the next day the error is there.Im using criticalZone V2 BlueBox.Any help will be appreciated.Sorry for my english. C-Beats
What drive format is your SSD using? Is it Fat32 or NFTS?
cenutrio351
Is exFAT, is compatible?.Please say yes, or anything that I can do. Thanks!.
C-Beats
You can run the app on exFAT but will require some manual effort to make themes play nice. This is because symlinks aren't supported on that format and so the automated process that takes cares of this doesn't work. Basically you need to copy some directories to the core folder, then mark them read-only. Namely the \\LaunchBox\Themes folder and copying it to \\LaunchBox\Core\Themes. Then if you ever install a new theme you'll need to drop it in BOTH folders moving forward. If the drive is still fairly empty you could also just reformat it to NTFS and then use it as normal. cenutrio351
Perfect, thanks for your answer. I prefer to do the homework, becasuse only with Launchbox (media, emulators, ect) the drive is full.Im very bad with computers, so I like you said, I copy the theme folder into the //launchbox/Core/themes and mark like read-only, thats correct?.Im think I am not to install more new themes, I like this one. Thanks!.
